Radical New Book Shines Lights On Major Business Trend
Sherry Gaba, LCSW, Psychotherapist and Life Coach, along with 46 other entrepreneurs from around the world announce the release of Conscious Entrepreneurs: A Radical New Approach to Purpose, Passion and Profit (Love Your Life Publishing). The release of this book is representative of a major shift occurring in the marketplace… business owners are no longer satisfied simply by turning a profit.
As Patricia Aburdene writes in Megatrends 2010: The Rise of Conscious Capitalism, the most critical factor to this major trend of conscious capitalism is the quest for Spirit and meaning. Business owners have shifted from a desire to make money to a desire to make a difference and have a meaningful life. At first glance, you may think that focusing on meaning excludes money; but the reality is the complete opposite.
James Twyman, author and producer of The Moses Code book and feature film has this to add, “Conscious Entrepreneurs brilliantly outlines the spiritual journey of entrepreneurship. Nowhere else have I seen such a powerful book written about what should be the ONLY way to BE in business.”
Companies that integrate meaning, mission and purpose into business are the ones that are going to succeed in the new economy while also having a profound positive impact on the world. Many entrepreneurs are realizing that the more they integrate their spiritual nature into their business, the easier and more profitable business becomes.
Sherry Gaba is a seasoned Life coach and Psychotherapist. As a graduate of the University of Southern California, she brings a multitude of experience to both her psychotherapy and life coaching. She can be heard on “Dr. Drew Live” with Dr. Drew Pinsky focusing on a variety of topics. She has worked with numerous clients helping them define their goals, develop an action plan, and fulfill their life purpose.

I am opening an organic clothing and apparrel store in the Milwaukee, WI area. The store is scheduled to open in April 2008 and will sell organic men's, women's and children's clothing, shoes, home goods and personal care products. One of our missions is to constantly look for and provide our clients with new and better high end organic fashion. The websight (not yet completed) is www.oliveorganic.org. I am building a store with all eco-friendly products, recycled carpet, eco-friendly paint, counters and wall treatments, eco-friendly light fixtures, the whole nine yards. As a new reatailer I would appreciate any advice on how to make sure that this business is successful. I can be reached at mickat004@hotmail.com.
